Winter guard is the sport of indoor color guard that uses a combination of flags, sabers, mock rifles, and other equipment, as well as dance and other interpretative movement. The BHS Winter Guard participates in contests competing against area high schools and in regional competition on the Southeastern Color Guard Circuit. The season begins in November with rehearsals and competitions that typically conclude in late March.
