MARCHING BAND &
COLOR GUARD

The Brentwood High School Marching Band and Color Guard regularly competes during each marching season across several regional events. Past performances for the marching band have included the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade (New York, NY), Boscov's Thanksgiving Day Parade (Philadelphia, PA), Fiesta Bowl National Championships (Phoenix, AZ) and the Alamo Bowl (San Antonio, TX).

 

The Marching Band is comprised of the Horn Line, musicians who march and play woodwind and brass instruments, the Percussion Section, musicians who play various percussion instruments, and the Color Guard, members who add to visual performance using dance, flags, rifles, sabers, props, etc.

 

Membership in the Marching Band Horn Line and Percussion Section is open to any student participating in one of the BHS instrumental music program class ensembles. Color Guard is open to students in 8th through 12th grades (no previous experience required).
